Today we had the pleasure of again hosting Mr. Martin Chajchir and Mr. Cristian Bittel, both partners from the firm MARVAL O’FARRELL MAIRAL (Argentina). We discussed some of the changes happening and scheduled to happen, including the newly adopted changes to examination and opposition procedures that were adopted as of March 1, 2026. We also discussed the recent commitments Argentina has made in accordance with their newly minted trade agreement with the US, which includes the PCT, joining the Madrid Protocol, and the Singapore Treaty, among others. Over lunch we also discussed recent trends with respect to requirements and decisions concerning non-use cancellations.
