Today we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. George Jomaa and Mr. Salah Samhouri　from SABA & Co.　Mr. Jomaa is from the Head Office in Lebanon and Mr. Samhouri is from their office in Yemen. They provided us with some detailed insight into current trademark matters in Arabic-speaking countries,and also gave us considerable advice on how to handle counterfeit products in those areas.

Mr. Ning Yue from FAIRSKY LAW OFFICE (China) visited our office today. Mr. Yue will be at the helm of FAIRSKY’s newly established Tokyo office. Given his wealth of experience and knowledge in dealing with Japanese companies, we expect good things to come.

Today we were pleased to host Mr. Johson Li, Ms. Janet Sheng, and 王永紅先生 from the Wanhuida Peksung IP Group (China). They were kind enough to provide us with a description of their firm and the services they provide.

Today we were happy to host several lawyers representing China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd, including Mr. Hong LUO, Mr. Longzhi YIN, Mr. Jianzhong YANG, Ms. Limei LIU and Ms. Tiffany LO. We discussed several specific ongoing and recent cases, and also received updates on the new airport current under construction in Beijing.

After attending the APPA’s 50th Anniversary celebration here in Tokyo, Ms. Andrea Fong and Ms. Shireen So from the firm WILKINSON & GRIST (HK) visited our office. We exchanged information and ideas about the recently held and upcoming international meetings such as INTA and APAA, among other topics.
